Well... We have successfully completed another two shoots, Sporting Clays at the Fish & Game & Skeet at the Kippen Gun Club.

We have had good turn outs at our shoots but are missing a few shooters from a couple clubs it would be great to see them make it out to the wrap up on February 24th at Woodstock Rod & Gun.

Congratulations to Marco VanDriel who was high gun at the Fish & Game with a 49... Sporting Clays seems to be one of the most challenging events on our program and a 49 is an excellent score.

For the Skeet shoot at Kippen we had a total of 47 shooters. Congratulations to Britt Caldwell, Mike Leitch & Brad Mann who tied for high gun with a 49.

We hope that everyone can make it out to the wrap up on February 24th at Woodstock Rod & Gun. If you are not able to attend that day, the make up round will be on February 17th.

Great Shooting! And good luck to everyone at the final event!

Now that trap season has begun so has the registered shoots.  There were 7 members from the Kippen Gun Club that travelled to Otter Valley on Sunday.  It was a cold windy day but Otter Valley had an excellent turn out, 15+ squads for both Singles & Handicap.

Kippen preformed well and came home with a few winners.  Kyle Mann came out on top in the singles with a 95 and was the Junior Champion! Jamie Caldwell walked away with A Class Champion in the Singles with a score of 96 & Brittany Caldwell came home with the Ladies category in the singles with a 92. Also a congratulations to Keith Saunders who won Vet in the Singles with a 97.  All and all a great start to what is sure to be an exciting Trap Season.

DON'T FORGET! Skeet is now finished for the summer, come out at shoot trap every Wednesday night from 6pm.

2011-2012 Interclub Results and Info

Back in October we had our first interclub event at Claybird Gun Club in Exeter where near 60 shooters from 6 different clubs came out to shoot 50 Wobble Trap. This was an exceptional turn out and we hope that just as many shooters can make it out to Porters Hill on Sunday November 27th (See our calendar of events for location details) to compete in our second event. 50 trap targets.

The results were great for the first shoot with 15 Shooters hitting 45 birds or more out of 50 targets. High gun for the day was a score of 48 held by 3 different shooters. Congratulations to Jeff Heinbuck, Dave Martin and George Wilson! Great Shooting!
